About Us

First Time Guests

We welcome you to join us for any of our regular services and hope that your time with us will be a blessing for you. Our website has information about the different programs and activities of the church, but we also want to help you know what to expect on a typical Sunday at Oak Street.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! You'll see folks in suits and others in blue jeans.

How long is a typical service?

Our Sunday morning services typically last 60-70 minutes. Sunday evening services are 60 minutes or less.

What happens in a typical service?

Our Sunday morning services begin with some brief announcements folllowed by prayer, Scripture reading, singing, a sermon, and typically another song. Every other month we celebrate the Lord's Supper together on a Sunday morning in addition to these other elements. Our Sunday evening services are more laid back; they typically include singing and a sermon.

What about kids?

We have a wonderful nursery for infants and pre-schoolers. Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade typically go to Children's Church when the sermon begins during our Sunday morning services. Check out our Children's Ministry page to learn more.
